PRINCIPAL PROFILE
Prof. Jasmine Anthony, an alumnus of Govt. College of Nursing, Indore has devoted 43 years to M.P. Govt. Nursing Services before taking Retirement in 2021.
She graduated as the best all-around student from the Govt. College of Nursing, Indore in 1978. She was posted to District Hospital, Ujjain. And Maharaja Yashwant Rao Hospital, Indore, and worked mainly in ICU and critical care ward. She was appointed as Sister Tutor at F.H.W. Training Centre in 1982 and Govt. College of Nursing, Indore in June 1984. In, 2006 she successfully completed her M.Sc. Nursing in Medical-Surgical Nursing with a specialization from Choithram College of Nursing, DAVV University, Indore.
She worked as a lecturer in Govt. College of Nursing Indore for 10 years. Thereafter she was promoted to Principal at Govt. College of Nursing, Indore in 2017. She was a Resource person at various International & National conferences at various Institutions.
She is Adhoc Inspector at Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. She was Dean Faculty of Nursing at MPMSU, Jabalpur by the Governor of M.P. Govt. for 2 Years from 2017-2019. She was the coordinator of various courses at Govt. College of Nursing, Indore run By IGNOU with the collaboration of National Health Mission, Bhopal. She is a lifetime member of TNAI, the Indian Nursing Research Society of India. She was the examiner and Research guide for both U.G. and P.G. courses at various universities. She was the trainer of GFATM run by WHO and INC in coordination with NACO from 2010-2014. She was a Nursing Expert in the selection and recruitment for the gazetted post of Nursing personnel from the Chhattisgarh Government in the year 2015.
She was an award winner for best Master Trainer for the GFATM project at National Level by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi in 2011. She was honored with a lifetime achievement award for outstanding professionalism and leadership at Jabalpur. She was awarded the Best Teacher award by M.P. Teachers Association in the year 2020.
